Horses For Half Lease
Epona Stable has horses available for monthly half lease (either for one or two days of riding per week).
If you are interested in half-leasing a horse, we require that you first demonstate your tacking and riding skills in a
1.5 hour assessment lesson. In this way, you can also determine if the horse is what you are looking for prior to the lease start date.

Horse height measurements:
When refering to a horse's height, the term 'Hand' is used. A hand is 4 inches,
so a 15 hand horse is 60 inches tall and measured from the wither to the ground. |

and stands about 13.2 hands tall. Suitable for an experienced child or very petit adult.

Special requirements: Kootenay is a very pretty, athletic pure black pony. She is
safe, trustworthy, road-safe and loves the trails too. She is very willing to jump and has started her ground poles work.
She is in re-training to become a child's pony club mount. Would be suitable for a child wanting to ride a pony with a future.
Lease: Two days p/week ring riding $225 p/month
In Lesson program: One lesson p/week and two days ring riding: $325 p/month (savings of $100)

Oliver is a fully retrained Standardbred
gelding More info on Standardbred horses and a descendant of
BIONIC WOMAN
and stands 17.3 hands tall. Trained in jumping, flying lead changes, canter leads, collection and extension.

Special requirements: Oliver is suitable for a compassionate, sensitive, talented
open jumper rider with demonstrated senior level open jumper experience only. Expert proficiency in the 'automatic release' jumping method
